Content Development and Enhancement

For this activity, I was asked to look at 3 previous MCBS projects that connect to my career path and refine them. After refining them, I was then asked to add them to me portfolio site. I was also asked to answer a few questions, in which the responses are below.

This project originated from Portfolio 2. I was asked to make research based on a real or fictitious business Idea. Through this project I was able to showcase my marketing and research skills, which is important for a brand identity designer. I first received feedback on my grammar and design when I was still in that class.

I will like to change the cover of the research report, which I have done and also the typefaces and some of the text.

I added this project to my portfolio page because it shows that I have skills in marketing.

I went into refining my assignment blog. I first created this in my intro to media and communications class. I decided to work on the site because it wasn’t showing who I was as website designer. It looked tacky and not attractive at all. I change the template, removed some pages,changed the aesthetics and typefaces. Basically everything about the site. I feel what I have done now better shows my website skills. I decided to add this at the footer page as something you can go to, to know more about me and my work.

Lastly, I worked on my portfolio site. The site was first made in my web design class but got polished in my portfolio 3 site. I received feedback concerning adding pictures that show that I actually do what I do and also to keep refining it. I am yet to add pictures because I have to take some, but I will get on that soon. I changed some pictures and added more things to the site. I also worked on some alignment and grammar issues.
