Content Development and Enhancement

For this assignment, I was asked to enhance my portfolio site by selecting projects from my previous MCBS courses that show the skills for my professional career. Also, I was asked to reflect on the 3 goals that I stated at the beginning of the class for the month and explain what I did to achieve them.

The three goals that I set aside for my portfolio 6 class were to enhance my personal logo, add new content to my site and provide a resume.

Out of these three goals, I was able to accomplish two. I created my professional resume and added it to my site and also created new content. I did not change my personal logo and this is because I realized that my pre-existing design fitted my brand image.

This month I mainly focused on my resume because of how close I am to graduating. I did this to have one available on my site and also to start applying for jobs.

Secondly, I worked on adding new content to my portfolio. I went back to all my former projects and school work and looked for the ones that corresponded to what my future career is. I was able to revise a former school project where I was asked to come up with an IMC campaign for an already established company and I also added a brand design project that I worked on previously. Lastly, I added a new professional photo of myself, which was taken by my friend Melissa Torres

What is my future career you ask? And how do these projects relate to it?

I want to be a brand identity designer that helps tell the stories of brands through strategies, design and marketing. All the projects that I have on my site and the ones that I will put in the future will all show this. These two projects that I added show that I do have skills in that area of expertise and that I why I added them.
