For this activity I was asked to research potential events and groups on Linkedin and Meetup to join to build my professional connections.

This is a group that I will like to join because it is basically women in business gathering together. This will help me grow in skill and expertise and also in my career. From the meeting I will be able to learn skills and also be in touch with women that may need my services for their brands like creating visual assets or research etc.

Network and Social

This networking group will open me to a lot of contacts that can become clients or employers. The events reach over 100,000 business professionals and collegiate entrepreneurs from over 35 Industries, which is a good place for me to grow and market myself.

Media & Marketing Professionals Worldwide

This is a large networking group with over 500,000 media and marketing professionals on LinkedIn from across the globe. From this group, I will be able to network to gain job opportunities, learn about trends and developments in the industry first hand and seek career advice.

Social media Today

Is a community of social media professionals and professionals in marketing and advertising that discuss the world of social networks. As someone that wants to go into marketing, it is very important for me to learn more about social media and hear it from the professionals that using and working with it everyday.
