Week 2 Integrative Learning: Identifying Career Opportunities

For this project, I was asked to research 3 potential job descriptions from my previous map target audience. I was then asked to rank them and explain the reason behind the rank.
#1 - Three 21 - Project Management Internship - The candidate is able to work closely with the project managers and creative team which will allow being exposed to different projects and clients.. I also like this because you will be able to attend meetings and be part of the strategy and content planning process. My end goal is to become a creative director and manage creative projects, so this will be an amazing learning experience.
Another thing that makes this my number 1 ranked job opportunity is the brand culture. From the website, the brand looks very laid back and their core values reflect on some of the things I believe in and consider myself.
#2 - Different Perspective - communications intern - I like this job opportunity because it has to do with the marketing and advertising industry and involves storytelling. The candidate will have responsibilities in working closely with the team leaders and participating in team meetings and brainstorming. This position will also allow the candidate to work in research, writing for blogs, social media and scripts and also create content. I feel this job position will be an amazing learning experience for me because it will give hands on experience in the marketing industry and allow me to be in the creative strategy process.
#3- Big Eye - New Business Internship - For this internship, I’ll get to work closely with the agency’s marketing manager and marketing coordinator on marketing initiatives, proposal developments, presentations and new business acquisition. It also goes under how I want to be involved in the planning and strategy processes. The only issue that I might have with this job position and the one above, is that I may not be involved in the design processes and the fact that is in an unpaid internship.
